Job Summary
- Design and execute detailed manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform functional regression integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate end-to-end retail workflows including billing inventory management promotions and transactions.
- Test Point of Sale (POS) systems covering payments refunds receipts and device interactions.
- Identify log track and manage defects through to resolution using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers business analysts and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Ensure application quality through thorough validation of retail systems and workflows.
- 10 years of experience in manual testing with a strong focus on retail and POS systems.
- Solid expertise in functional regression integration and UAT testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in testing retail applications including billing inventory and transaction workflows.
- Experience testing POS environments including payment systems and peripheral device interactions.
- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and testing best practices.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive and effective test scenarios.
- Identify edge cases and ensure complete coverage of retail workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide clear actionable defect reports.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional and Agile environments.
