POSITION: Internship - Communications & Design

LOCATION: We will only consider candidates legally authorized to work in the Netherlands.

SALARY:

• Netherlands salary range: 400 - 500 per month

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an organized and creative Communications and Design Intern to join our Internal Communications team in Amsterdam. The Internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the engagement of nearly 700 Rainforest Alliance employees across the world. This is achieved by supporting the planning and execution of internal webinars and events enhancing communication channels and creating visually compelling materials.

You will work with the Internal Communications team and collaborate with our in-house Design team during your Internship gaining valuable experience in corporate communications design and digital transformation projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Internal Events and Engagement

• Support us and delivery of internal events such as:

  • All-staff Town Halls

  • Webinars

  • Weekly virtual cafés

• Help with event logistics communications content preparation and coordination

• Help ensure engaging employee experiences

Internal Communications Projects

• Contribute to the redesign and reintroduction of the organizational intranet

• Support ongoing internal communication projects and campaigns

• Help draft and edit communication materials

Content & Design

• Create internal communication materials including:

  • Presentation decks

  • Visual assets for internal campaigns

• Work with the in-house Design team to ensure agreement on brand guidelines

• Help translate complex information into clear and engaging visual formats

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Communications Marketing Design or a related field

• Interest in communications and design

• Experience working on communications and design projects

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite Figma Canva)

• Responsible and reliable

• Culturally sensitive

• A team player
