Job Summary
Role: Security Engineer(Security Posture Assessment & Remediation)
Location: Mexico
Security Posture Assessment & Remediation
Conduct comprehensive security posture assessments across cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)
Identify vulnerabilities misconfigurations and compliance gaps
Perform risk analysis and prioritization based on business impact
Define and implement remediation strategies and action plans
Ensure alignment with security standards such as NIST CIS ISO 27001
Track remediation progress and provide regular status reporting
Required Technical Skills
Cloud Platforms
Strong hands-on experience in:
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (preferred)
AWS and/or Azure
Security & Compliance
Cloud security frameworks: CIS Benchmarks NIST ISO 27001
Identity & Access Management (IAM) RBAC least privilege models
Network security: VPCs firewalls VPNs Private Access
Data protection: encryption (at rest/in transit) key management
Security Tools
Cloud-native:
GCP Security Command Center
AWS GuardDuty Security Hub
Azure Defender
Vulnerability management tools (e.g. Qualys Tenable)
SIEM/SOAR tools (e.g. Splunk Sentinel)
