Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Production Planning Manager located in Guadalajara North Campus.
The production planning manager will be responsible for overseeing operational activities in the production floor addressing bottlenecks and find solutions as well as attending improvement in processes to material flow and work orders.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and manage production forecast based on masterplantimelinesmaterial needs to define production requirements based on plant capacitywhich arealignedwith company goals.
- Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes indemandcommunicateupdates to all relevant parties and ensurematerial suppliesable tomeet the changes
- Produces revenueinvestigationand annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.
- Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
- Liaise with operation team to resolve daily production line disruption and productivity issues.
- In charge ofthe development and implementation of the companys production control functions including Master Scheduling Production Planning/Coordination Shop Scheduling and Dispatching.
- Develop material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for definingmaterial planning parameters for components.
- Approves quantities schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
- Maintains reports to reflect scheduling methodsholding upperformance and process procedures.
- Interfaces with customers to ensure deliverydedications are met and with subordinates functional peer group managers and senior management.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors degree in related field (Industrial supply chain materials logistics).
- Previous experience in similar position solving operational problems on production floor.
- ERP system knowledge would be a plus.
- Strong leadership skills able to take important decisions and lead a team to improve efficiency.
- Good communication skills.
- English intermediate will be an advantage.
