Location:
Vertiv is looking for a results-driven Commodity Manager to own $50M$100M in annual Capex & facilities spend driving strategic sourcing supplier negotiations and measurable cost savings across manufacturing sites in the Americas.
What Youll Do
- Lead end-to-end Capex procurement: strategy RFx negotiation and contracting
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned to cost timeline and business goals
- Leverage analytics market intelligence and cost modeling to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Build and manage supplier relationships for performance continuity and competitive pricing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical projects on time and on budget
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering International Business or related
- 4 years of experience in procurement sourcing or category management
- Experience managing or supporting multi-million-dollar ($10M) Capex or indirect spend categories
- Proven ability to deliver measurable results (cost savings cost avoidance cash flow impact)
- Skilled in strategic sourcing RFx supplier negotiations and spend analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing/industrial procurement experience
- Procurement of production equipment or capital projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication collaboration and problem-solving skills
