Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Transportation Planner to design optimize and execute transportation plans that ensure high service levels while controlling costs. This role plays a critical part in managing daily transportation operations improving On Time performance and driving continuous optimization across the distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

• Transportation Planning & Execution:Develop and execute daily transportation plans (FTL LTL Milk Runs) to align customer demand with operational capacity and routing efficiency.

• Carrier & Vendor Management:Lead carrier selection negotiate rates (RFQs) and monitor performance against SLAs to ensure reliability safety and compliance.

• Cost Optimization & Efficiency:Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives such as load consolidation backhauls and mode optimization to reduce spend and improve service.

• KPI Management & Continuous Improvement:Track key metrics (OTD OTP Routing Guide adherence) and analyze root causes to implement effective corrective actions.

• Exception & Risk Management:Proactively manage disruptions in real-time and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Warehouse CS Demand Planning) for end-to-end visibility.

• Systems & Digital Innovation:Utilize TMS (TM9) and leverage AI-driven tools or automation to simplify processes and enhance transportation data accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Industrial Engineering or related field

24 years of experience in customer service supply network planning transportation planning logistics or supply chain operations

Experience with routing strategies (FTL LTL cross-dock milk run)
Strong background in KPI management and continuous improvement

Requirements :

• English proficiency both oral and written
