A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Plans performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
• Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
• Organizes leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
• Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
• Measures performance against process requirements.
• Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
• May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement analysis improvement and control.
• Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
• Communicates team progress.
• Performs cost and benefit analyses.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

University degree completed preference Industrial Engineer Mechanical Engineer or related.

1 year of experience in Industry deeply interested into an Operational Excellence role to support Lean Six Sigma initiatives workflow improvements and waste reduction.

English intermediate

Yellow Belt Certificate

Experience related Kaizen event trough A3 DMAIC methodology for improvement process and strong skills on problem solving.

Knowledge to give trainings on problem solving Lean Sigma ( yellow belt level ) Shop Floor engagement 5s.

Strong skills on financial validations for cost reduction projects ( including Burden Labor MUV).
