Software Engineer I

About the Role:

Our Platform Services Engineering team builds and maintains the cloud-based applications RESTful APIs and shared services that power Experian Software Solutions products. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help develop both the backend services and user-facing applications delivered through our rapidly growing cloud platform. Youll collaborate closely with Product UX Architecture and Engineering teams.

What Youll Do Here

1. Develop support and continuously improve core platform services and infrastructure components including event-driven services identity and access management user navigation services and shared platform capabilities.
2. Ensure solutions are scalable secure maintainable and aligned with engineering standards using modern cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
3. Work with teams on the process of requirements gathering with various stakeholders across teams. (Product Owner Architect User experience Delivery and Support functions Site Reliability Engineering/Operations team).
4. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager
5. This position operates under a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in office 3 days remote).

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• 02 years of software development experience including internships co-op programs academic projects or professional experience.
• Experience with software engineering principles object-oriented programming and modern application development technologies.
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java JavaScript React Angular or similar.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Cloud AWS databases APIs and software development tools through coursework projects or work experience.
• Basic knowledge of software testing version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD concepts.
• 1 years of experience with a relational database such as MySQL PostgreSQL or Oracle
