Come join our Youth Sports team! Our Y is looking for individuals to help coach a variety of sports programs throughout the summer including sports and recreation day camps (soccer volleyball flag football basketball hiking & canoeing) and a variety of evening programming.
Shift Options:
Shifts are available at both the Dahl (La Crosse) branch and Houser (Onalaska) branch. 14 days per week 420 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and coaching youth sports classes
- Interacting and communicating with participants and families
- Willingness to develop relationshipbuilding teaching coaching class management and leadership skills
Requirements
- General understanding of organized sports
- Desire to work with children ages 412
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with staff members volunteers participants and members
