Year 3 Teacher - Amazing Primary School in Redbridge

We are working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Redbridge seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS2 teacher is required from September 2024.

This fantastic primary school is searching for an outstanding KS2 teacher who can start in September 2024. This is a significant position within the school and the successful applicant will join the schools extended leadership team. Strong communication and analytical abilities as well as the ability to teach a funloving Year 3 class beginning in September are required for this position. Only exceptional experienced KS2 teachers will be interviewed for this permanent fulltime position.

Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

• As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
• Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses
• Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions statistics and geometry
• Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Experience teaching primary school students ideally in KS2
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• A passion for teaching and learning with a commitment to ongoing professional development
• Good behaviour management skills with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Enhanced DBS check and professional references
