Working student fmd - IoT Software Engineer Cloud

Tasks

This is a position for those interested in building the foundation of The European Cloud Provider. Our team is developing Cloud PaaS services.

We need you: A motivated and experienced software engineer.

You will work together with a creative and innovative group of people that love experimenting and learning new things. We are an international team that breaks barriers and brings the European digital future ahead.

You will be responsible for:

• Define IoT software areas for our Cloud product portfolio.
• Benchmark IoT software solutions commercial and open source ones.
• Evaluate technical integration with the existing Cloud product portfolio e.g.: Managed Kubernetes or Managed MongoDB.

Qualifications

• IoT architectures for Industrial environments and / or Smart cities.
• IoT protocols are not new for you e.g.: MQTT.
• Kubernetes ecosystem.
• You speak English fluently.
• You are currently enrolled at a university near Karlsruhe.
• You are available for a minimum of 6 months as a working student.
