Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer with 23 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients ensuring high performance security and scalability. You should have a passion for web development and a strong understanding of WordPress best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing WordPress websites from concept to completion.
- Customizing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Developing custom themes and plugins as needed.
- Conducting website performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with design and marketing teams to implement website features and functionalities.
- Ensuring crossbrowser compatibility and responsiveness of websites.
- Providing technical support and assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 23 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of PHP HTML CSS and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with responsive design and crossbrowser compatibility.
- Familiarity with MySQL and database management.
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git/ Bitbucket).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with web security best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or related field (preferred).
