Candidates will automatically be declined. **Only submit profile who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking an OR Pediatric RN to:Communicate and coordinate Operating Room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.Implement safe competent and efficient patient care within policies procedures and standards and care plan to perioperative patients regardless of complexity.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in travelers profile including resume medefis profile onboarding documents). Experience: Clinical Operating Room experience pediatric nursing experience including including PICU. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital. Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks). Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS and PALS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Reference Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the travelers competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment if the primary unit no longer has a need shifts will be reassigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Oncall Optional: Call response time of 45 minutes; 45 minutes from phone call dressed in scrubs and reporting to charge nurse. Location: American Family Children s Hospital 1675 Highland Ave Madison WI 53792 Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.

Shift: 40 hrs/week. Day/Evening (5) 8 hr shifts Monday Friday. Weekday and weekend call required (one weeknight call per week one weekend call every four weeks). Shifts may vary based on operational needs of department.
