Candidates will automatically be declined. **Only submit profile who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.The Employee Health Services (EHS) Nurse Clinician is a Registered Nurse who provides direct and indirect nursing care for UW Health employees contract employees and nonemployee groups with particular emphasis in the area of occupational health. The Nurse Clinician utilizes established protocols and current standards of care to meet the wide variety of health care needs of the UW Health employee population. Primary work duties will be performing immunizations TB skin tests triaging calls and respirator fit testing.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in travelers profile: resume Medefis portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address listed). Experience:3 years of relevant nursing experience required.Experience working in either an employee health clinic infectious disease or internal medicine clinic preferred. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital. Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks) preferred. Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLYCertified as a COHN preferred. Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only). Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment if the primary unit no longer has a need shifts will be reassigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Parking: Permit Required through UW Transportation
Shift: 40 hrs/week Monday Friday Day 8 hour shifts 7:00 AM 4:30 PM with some after hours coverage as needed.
