WI - Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient Services Sterile Compounding Required

Do not submit traveler who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment. Traveler will automatically be declined. Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to: Prepare and package medications. Deliver medications to different patient care areas. Control inventory and cost. Work with Pharmacy automation and robotics.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirements:o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in travelers profile). Experience:o Traveler must have previous Pharmacy Technician experience in inpatient/level 1 trauma facility or similar size hospital setting. o Traveler must have sterile compounding experience required. o Epic experience highly preferred. o Prior traveler experience highly preferred. Licensure and Certification:o Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration is required.o CPT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Referenceso Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floatingo Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the travelers competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment if the primary unit no longer has a need shifts will be reassigned to another unit in order to complete contract.Location: University Hospital 600 Highland Ave Madison WI 53792 Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.

Shift: 40 hrs/week DayEve . All shifts are 8.5 hours with a 30 minute unpaid break. Weekend rotation.
