WI - Medical Assistant or LPN - Dermatology

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to: Join our UW Health dermatologists and advanced practice providers who diagnose and treat diseases of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes in a fast-paced clinic. Provide hands-on assistance with dermatology or mohs surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and suture removals. Facilitate services such as phototherapy, photodynamic therapy or laser procedures. Deliver quality care in a compassionate and patient-family-centered environment. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education. Be part of a positive, patient-centered team Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile). Experience: Minimum two years experience required as Certified Medical Assistant. Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience including rooming patients.Dermatology or outpatient surgery (skin) related experience highly preferred. Epic experience required. Prior traveler experience required. Licensure and Certification: Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN. BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or In lieu of the above requirements, two (2) years of recent Medical Assistant experience and current CMA, RMA or CCMA certification. Reference Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Location: UW Health Clinic 1 South Park Street, Madison, WI Parking: Free parking onsite

Shift: 40 hrs/week, Days, 8 hr shifts, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm depending on clinic needs. No weekends.
