Wi-Fi Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to requirement analysis engineering design solution development and ongoing management of a multivendor enterprise WiFi network infrastructure.
• Partner with network operations and deployment teams to analyze data and performance metrics to improve reliability and resiliency of the wireless network.
• Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events and minimize operational complexity.
• Create WiFi Optimization Guidelines
• Host meeting with Market Engineers to educate the markets on WiFi Optimization
• Present Guidelines and Optimization Best Practices on National Calls

Minimum Qualifications:

• CCNA/CCNP/CWNA/CWDP level Switching/Routing/WiFi experience with
• Designing building and operating WiFi networks.
• Layer 2/3 Switching
• Controllerbased & controllerless enterprise wireless architectures and monitoring systems.
• TCP/IP IPv4 and IPv6 and related network services (e.g. DHCP and DNS).
• Handson experience designing configuring optimizing WiFi networks with knowledge of RF design and latest 802.11 standards.
• Scaling of large WiFi networks from end to end (provisioning/monitoring).
• Vendors Cisco CommScope/Ruckus Aruba Open WiFi
• Troubleshooting WiFi connectivity and performance issues using WLAN controllers overtheair packet capture analysis and spectrum analyzer.
• Passpoint/Open Roaming
