Job Description:

Seeking an Experienced Welding Inspector! Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a passion for ensuring topnotch quality assurance and control. As a Welding Inspector youll play a crucial role in overseeing daily QA/QC operations including inspection and corrective action tracking fabrication surveillance and compliance reporting. Collaborating closely with Shop Foremen Leads and Production Managers youll ensure seamless completion of QA records packages and review material certifications for adherence to specifications.

Qualifications:

Manages QA/QC Department Logs and Corrective Action Tracking.

Conducts QA Surveillance of Fabrication activities addressing any unsatisfactory findings.

Review Material Certifications for compliance with Drawings and Specifications.

Perform NDE (PT/MT) tests on headers coils and record findings.

Conduct pressure tests for coils both Code and NonCode.

Inspects welding of headers and review Shop Travelers for inspections.

Performs random final inspections on coils and coolers prior to shipment.

Maintains cleanliness and organization of pressure testing equipment.

Assists with vendor quality management and resolution of quality issues.

Aids in calibrations log and equipment for the facility.

Assists in developing jobspecific quality programs procedures etc.
