Job description

• Ability to produce high quality parts that are acceptable to CWI acceptance levels.
• Work in a team environment in order for the business to succeed.
• Shall follow work instruction directions and or drawing information along with acquiring associated tooling used in fabrication.
• Adhere to Plant Safety and work rules/procedures.
• Work in a safe manner. Actively participate in job discussions including interactions with both QA and Engineering.

Skills Required

• Set up and operate weld equipment to MIG TIG or spot weld parts to blueprint specifications
• Load and unload parts onto weld table and fixtures using hand tools ratchets or air tools to secure parts to fixtures
• Check parts to quality specifications
• Troubleshoot problems and recommend or take corrective action
• Use hoist pallet jacks or forklift to move parts materials containers and fixtures to and from storage areas.
• Complete paperwork for work orders labor and time reporting quality records and related reporting requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Train others
• Perform other duties as necessary and appropriate for this position

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years actively welding to established weld codes. Proven performance of actual qualification tests listed from previous employers. Can be listed in resume and expounded on at time of interview if chosen.

Experience Preferred

Previous job experience in qualification test plates Radiography acceptance. Welding in accordance with WPS

Education Required

Typically a High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Education Preferred

Technical education training in Welding.
