Most businesses maximize their profits, and so do we. The difference is what we do with that profit. Normally, these profits go to shareholders. But we're doing something very different.

We're giving it away. All of it.

BOAS is the online marketplace where everything is sustainable. And we're putting our money where our mouths are: we're giving away all profits to charities that save lives and the planet.

To achieve more good, we are looking for an development intern for a 6-month (or longer) internship to start as soon as possible (you can also apply for a later time).

Tasks

Depending on your experience and wishes, you will take on a selection of the following activities, for example:

• Implementation of websites and landing pages Shopify and related plugins
• Further development using scripting and programming languages such as HTML / CSS / JavaScript / JQuery / AJAX / PHP / SQL
• Design of web elements based on corporate brand guidelines
• Software development within a Scrum team with Daily Scrum / Planning Poker / User-Story- and Bug-Management as well as Test-Driven-Development via Asana
• Assistance to the management e.g. with scheduling, research and communication with business partners and customers.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, goal orientation and motivation
• Organisational talent
• Structured and precise way of working
• IT affinity, confident use of MS Office
• Stable internet connection
• But most importantly: a normal office job is not enough for you and you want to actively do good in the world
