Your Role
As a Web Developer/Website Administrator at PSC Biotech you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our digital presence across various platforms. This role involves a deep understanding of web development and administration requiring a blend of technical prowess creative vision and strategic thinking. You will be instrumental in developing optimizing and maintaining our websites ensuring they align with our business goals and deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Lead the development and maintenance of our main websites including PSC Biotech PSC Software BioTechnique and others ensuring high performance topnotch security and seamless user experience.
- Spearhead the design and implementation of new features and functionalities focusing on innovative solutions to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct comprehensive website audits identifying areas for improvement in terms of content design SEO and overall performance.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of WordPress for theme and plugin development ensuring highquality standards and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and optimize web hosting environments including experience with GoDaddy cPanel and Virtual Private Servers.
- Implement and oversee robust SMTP solutions ensuring efficient and secure email communications.
- Develop and maintain dynamic and interactive web forms ensuring seamless data collection and integration with backend systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in web development and administration.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to web standards and accessibility guidelines delivering a consistent and inclusive user experience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance ensuring the reliability and stability of web applications.
- Facilitate the creation of development instances and staging environments enabling efficient testing and deployment processes.
- Engage in proactive site monitoring and troubleshooting addressing issues promptly to maintain optimal website performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in web development and administration with a proven track record of managing complex websites.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML JavaScript PHP SQL CSS and other relevant web technologies.
- Extensive experience with WordPress including custom theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments such as GoDaddy cPanel and Virtual Private Servers.
- Strong understanding of SMTP protocols and email delivery systems.
- Expertise in developing and managing web forms and integrating them with backend databases or CRM systems.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience in implementing SEOfriendly website structures and content.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools to create intuitive and userfriendly interfaces.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git and development tools such as Visual Studio Code or similar.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex web issues.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- A passion for staying updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in web development design or related fields.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in developing and implementing headless CMS architectures.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React Angular or Vue.js.
- Experience in developing ecommerce platforms and understanding of online payment processing systems.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices in web development.
