What you will do for Sectona
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise creativity and problemsolving abilities to maintain and enhance our WordPress sites. As a WordPress Developer you will be responsible for the following:
Maintaining a WordPress site like creating new pages and posts as well as updating existing content.
Building custom modules using Elementor PHP and editing themes and templates as needed.
Handling Cloudflare and WordPress hosting to keep our sites secure and efficient.
Managing different environments (like DevStaging and Production) to safely test and deploy changes.
Taking monthly backups of the website and internal sites.
Ensuring compatibility between the Learning Management System (LMS) and WordPress versions.
Implementing and configuring new plugins as per business requirements.
Maintaining the File Manager and uploading relevant files for Learning Management System (LMS).
Troubleshooting any issues that arise and documenting solutions for future reference.
Implementing new features and changes based on business requirements across various internal platforms.
Proficiency in coding languages such as PHP HTML/CSS with the ability to write clean efficient code.
Executing SEO practices to optimize website performance.
Collaborating with the marketing team to manage website content effectively.
Developing a basic understanding of APIs and how to integrate them into WordPress projects.
Requirements

- The ability to patiently collaborate with different teams within Sectona and try and get work done
Here s what we d like you to have/ be - 2-4 years experience as a content writer working for a B2B enterprise A published portfolio of works (you should be proud of your work) Ability to deliver technical messaging Good knowledge of SEO and hands-on experience with using keyword research and traffic analysis tools Data-driven with good research and analytical skills Basic understanding of digital advertising Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with strong attention to detail Must be able to work independently as well as with multiple teams to deliver content Brownie points for a degree in Marketing or Journalism and Communication
