WARRANTY TECHNICIAN

CAF is one of the international market leaders in the design, manufacture and maintenance of modern rolling stock. For its Norwegian subsidiairy, CAF has been chosen by Spoorveien to design and manufacture 87 new trams for the city of Oslo. Those vehicles are being manufactured in our in Zaragoza and Beasain factories in Spain.

For this project we are currently looking for a Warranty Technician.

The position:

• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective repairs necessary to ensure warranty of the trains equipment (doors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic brakes and auxiliary equipment, HV circuits, refrigeration equipment, motors, traction equipment etc.)

• Be able to interpret schematic diagrams

• Work with 750volt DC systems

• Deal with electrical and mechanical equipments.

• Be PC literate with the ability to learn new software programmes quickly

Contribute to good depot housekeeping and maintain health and safety standards in accordance with CAF procedures

Required profile - Technical Competencies

Essential

• Advanced Vocational qualification/apprenticeship in the areas of Electricity/Electronics, Mechanics, Vehicle Maintenance.
  
• High electrical / electronics technical knowledge / ability.
  

Desirable

• 4 years post apprenticeship experience
• Preferable electrical/ electronic machines repair experience.
• Available to work shifts
• Diagnostic experience
• Rail related experience
