Warehouse Lead

GenTent Safety Canopies! Established in November 2011 GenTent created a new market category introducing the first portable generator running cover. We are looking for an enthusiastic handson motivated individual seeking an opportunity to grow with our dynamic company. The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee the daily operations in the warehouse while ensuring that the warehouse is organized and safe inventory is accurately recorded and entered and that staff members are supervised and trained.

Warehouse Lead Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the daily operations including shipping and receiving inventory management order fulfillment hardware pack kitting and returns processing.

Be the team lead for warehouse staff and ensure their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized and that safety protocols are followed.

Train warehouse staff including new hires. Inspect merchandise for damage flaws and irregularities.

Requirements

Minimum Job Experience: Enthusiasm to learn and assist in multiple areas of our business.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Exhibits strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

A willingness to problemsolve and suggest improvements.

Basic knowledge of Windows Office software including Excel

Preferred Job Experience: Active forklift operators license Class 1 or 5 years of experience.

Advanced knowledge of Windows Office software including Excel

Has worked with inventory control software.

Team Lead/Supervisor experience 2 years.

Warehouse experience 5 years.

Physical Requirements: Able to stand twist and bend for extended periods of time while performing duties. Must be capable of lifting stacking and carrying up to 50 lbs throughout the day.

Benefits

Pay: $20$22 per hour depending on experience.
