Join our client’s dynamic Utility Supply & Services team as a Warehouse Inventory Control Associate based in Georgetown TX. This role is ideal for a reliable and experienced individual who is ready to handle responsibilities such as picking packing verifying and shipping materials maintaining accurate inventory and operating forklifts.
You'll be directly involved in inventory control activities including cycle counts discrepancy investigations and the implementation of corrective measures to minimize errors.
The position requires occasional weekend (Saturdays) work during peak periods and offers the chance to contribute to various warehouse operations ensuring a safe organized and efficient environment.
Day to Day:
You'll be directly involved in inventory control activities including cycle counts discrepancy investigations and the implementation of corrective measures to minimize errors.
The position requires occasional weekend (Saturdays) work during peak periods and offers the chance to contribute to various warehouse operations ensuring a safe organized and efficient environment.
Day to Day:
- Conduct accurate picking packing verification and shipment of materials
- Operate forklifts and maintain inventory in designated areas
- Collaborate on inventory counts identify discrepancies and assist in process improvements
- Record and report shipment discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and organizational standards
- Proven experience in inventory management cycle counting and forklift operation
- Proficiency in basic computer skills including Word Excel and Outlook
- Capability to engage in physical work including lifting 50 pounds and withstanding outdoor work environments
- Effective communication skills across various team levels
