Warehouse Helper

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and Organize Shipments: Receive incoming shipments verify their contents and accurately record received items. Organize products within the warehouse according to established procedures.
   

2. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular counts and reconciling discrepancies. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper stock rotation and storage.
   

3. Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from shelves packing them securely and preparing them for shipment. Ensure orders are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
   

4. Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards. Report any quality issues or damages promptly.
   

5. Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times including sweeping floors removing debris and disposing of packaging materials.
   

6. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any malfunctions or damages.
   

7. Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to facilitate smooth operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and address any concerns.
   

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
  
• Forklift certification is a plus.
