Shift: 8AM – 5PM
The Position: We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. 
Pay: $14.93 - $18.00  
Job Type: Part-Time 
Job Specifications: 

  • Picks merchandise for shipment according to current orders.
  • Uses a headset or pick sheet to locate items within the warehouse.
  • Removes products from warehouse shelves and places products on pallets, with a pallet jack or forklift, following stacking policies to prevent product damage.
  • Verifies product and quantity accuracy.

Typical Functions:

  • Informs supervisor of differences in product descriptions or quantities.
  • Wraps the loaded pallet with plastic wrap until the products are secured.
  • Labels product, ensuring that the label can be seen on the outside of the pallet.
  • Delivers wrapped and labeled pallets to the loading dock.
  • Checks equipment for safety before every shift, including visual and operational safety inspections of vehicles.
  • Reports any equipment issues to supervisor and maintenance staff.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • May load pallets onto the delivery trucks.

Physical Requirements:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.  The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Other Requirements:  Must be able to work in fast pace, sometimes stressful, environment.  Must be able to communicate, receive and understand instructions.  Must have prior forklift experience and complete Forklift Certification and Hazardous Materials Training. Capable of using technology such as a computer and scan gun.  Steel-toed boots are required.  Must follow all rules and work procedures for the department.
