13 weeks Days/Varied 12hour shift 36 hours/week guaranteed

The Infection Preventionist / Employee Health Nurse is responsible for implementing and coordinating Copley Hospitals infection prevention and control program (IPCP) which is designed to provide a safe sanitary and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections. This nurse will review employee vaccination requirements and make recommendations to senior leadership. This position will include prevention and surveillance in the inpatient and outpatient settings at Copley Hospital.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous experience in infection prevention is desired

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• A current and unencumbered VT State RN License is required
• BLS/BCLS is required

EMR System: CPSI/Evident experience desired
