Video Editor

Job Overview: We are looking for a Video Editor to create engaging and on-brand videos for a variety of media. The Video Editor will be defining requirements, visualizing and creating videos. You’ll be shaping the visual aspects of email, social media, and more with the design team. Your videos should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, websites, marketing demos, etc.)

• Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.

• Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc.

• Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for graphic design.

• Work with editors, and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.

• Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.

• Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.

• Assist in designing and creating storyboards.

• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design technique

Requirements

• Proven video editing experience

• A strong portfolio of motion graphics and videos

• Familiarity with video-editing software and technologies

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

• Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus

• Experience of 1-2 years
