Vice President of Cybersecurity

Responsible for designing and validating the cybersecurity strategy ensuring that information technology assets applications systems infrastructure and associated processes are adequately protected in the digital ecosystem in which the organization operates. Also responsible for defining and presenting the cybersecurity framework principles policies standards and guidelines in line with the strategic plan and business model of the Group among other inherent functions of the position.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field; Masters degree in Cybersecurity Information Security Business Administration (MBA) or a related field; desirable cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP SSCP CISM CISA LCM ISO/IEC 27032; advanced English language skills; minimum 7 years of experience in similar positions involving team management in cybersecurity; among other requirements specified in the job description

Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role in a fintech environment. Strong team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of tech professionals. Extensive experience working with API integrations and a deep understanding of related technologies. Prior work in the money transfer or BaaS sectors is highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. Excellent communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards in the fintech industry. Proven ability to scale technology infrastructure to support rapid business growth. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing fintech operations. Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within a tech organization.
