Position Summary:
True Office Learning is seeking a Product Designer to join our product team in creating market leading e-learning solutions for Fortune 1000 organizations around the globe.
The Product designer will work closely with development and product teams to suggest and design improvements to our products and processes. The designer should be comfortable presenting product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
The role requires a talented designer who has a strong visual and communication skills, understands client needs/brand guidelines, and has creative problem-solving skills. The Product designer should have experience creating desktop and mobile designs and related spec documents to share with engineering team.
All candidates must be able to share examples of past work. E-learning experience preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
Translate strategy, business requirements, research findings, and UX best practices into high-quality, user-centric designs that supports and reinforces product vision, brand, and business objectives.
Establish creative direction and generate rich, impactful design ideas in order to push the boundaries for our E-learning product
Work collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering partners to conceptualize design ideas from concept to completion
Create process flows, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
Conduct user research, interviews and surveys to recommend next steps that are user-centered
Create high fidelity desktop and mobile mocks and detailed interaction behavior specifications for handoff to engineering team
Make design considerations for diverse groups of people (international audiences, accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.)
Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency
Ability to empathize with a wide range of users, often different from yourself, to understand what they need.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
.
At least 3-5 years of product design experience
.
Team player and a self-starter with a willingness to learn and collaborate
.
Ability to multi-task and work well with changing priorities
.
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, and color science
.
Experience with WCAG standards and how to design for accessibility
.
Prior experience in working with developers in an agile team
.
Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions
.
Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch (or Figma or Invision)
.
A portfolio of work that demonstrates a breadth of visual and interaction design skills
Nice to have:

Familiarity with HTML and CSS
.
Icon design and animation experience
.
E-learning experience
.
Experience building Design Systems is a plus
Experience using Jira and Confluence
