Description:
Summary
This position is a production scheduler position located in the Combustion Components manufacturing department located in Charlotte NC. Specifically this position will be involving the scheduling of the coatings area of the shop.

Specific Areas of Responsibility
Schedule workflow to ensure alignment with upstream and downstream value chains
Forecast and facilitate completion dates for parts leaving the coating area
Provide detailed work center scheduling
Manage coating powder inventories and availability at point of use
Collaborate with team members and supervision to ensure accurate prioritization of work
Facilitate nonconformance rework planning and scheduling

Position Requirements
Bachelors Degree (BS/BA) or Associates Degree with equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 5 years manufacturing experience in scheduling line supervision industrial engineering or production control.
Must be willing to work 5 days/week in office/shop floor environment
Knowledge of MRP and scheduling systems / tools preferred.
Proven experience with SAP and Microsoft Office software a plus.
Knowledge of general APS or HVOF coating manufacturing is an asset.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to evaluate options and make decisions
Ability to work as a team player

General Position Description
* Performs all tasks directly involved in preparation for production taking account of the order situation production capacities stock levels production and delivery backlogs procurement situations personnel resources cycle times material delivery times in order to create the conditions for an optimum production sequence.* Completes the necessary production documentation and data for each production order in order to guarantee effective and highquality handling of the work.* Calls up materials auxiliary and operating materials in order to ensure an on schedule start of the order regarding material supply. * Micro controls the production sequences in order to reach an optimum use of the resources.* Records or monitors workflow (completion reports) in order to map the current production status in the system.* Works on coordinating material movements between production units in order to ensure an optimum production run.* Actively contributes to cooperation with all others involved and with interface partners passing on all relevant information in order to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain. Impacts: Needs to consider processes and results generated in other workflows and disciplines implies conditions and environments and values significance to contribute effectively to team results. Needs experienced level of analytical and distinctive conceptual skills to solve issues given which may differ in size and nature. Key Responsibilities: Experienced Professional These positions are expected to contribute to and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions in a selfmanaged and target oriented manner and thus contributes to team results. Positions focusing on analyzing developing testing or implementing processes technologies and systems in their specific field of expertise from first principles. Targets are short to medium term (best to be characterized as milestones) and achievements are monitored. They may provide functional advice to and integrate services of operational staff or semiprofessional colleagues. Typically these functions review to 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in their field of work and qualification. Experience: 35 years. Knowledge: Thorough professional knowhow in one Sub Job Family based on practical experience and theoretical foundation. Focus on applying and expanding acquired knowledge base.
