The Network Administrator will be responsible for installation configuration maintenance and security of systems of the network and communications . The ideal candidate will have strong network topologies skills very well understanding of Modems Firewalls Routers Switches TCP /IP DNS WINDS and other network protocols protocols manage ticket with internet carriers
Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain the SD WAN Meraki network in both countries CA and US Experience in Meraki Administration web portals
Experience in Fortinet firewalls
Experience in Cisco Meraki Routers preferent Z3C MX68 MX84 Experience in DNS TCP/IP WINS protocols
Familiar with VPN s (by Software and Hardware)
Install configure and maintain Voip telephone systems (ringcentral business connect ) using Softphones and Polycom phones
Familiar with ADSLm broadband Dedicate Lines D1T1 D2 DI Administration of telecom vendors in mobility dedicated internet connections
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or related field At least 2 3 years of experience as a network administrator
Preferable with a Cisco NEtwork certification
Strong knowledge in DNS servers Group Policy VPN Server over SSTP protocol Remote Desktop server VDI
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols including TCP/IP DNS DHCP Strong knowledge of Network hardware like it is Firewalls Routers Switches Modems
Strong knowledge of Internet connection types like ADSL DSL Frame relay T1 D1 Broadband. Familiar with network security in perimeter with firewalls services like AV Content filtering Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent English communication skills verbally and written
Work Environment:
The Network Administrator will primarily work providing support level 2 and 3 remotely
It will interact with the IT helpdesk team system administrator DBA and operation team and telecom vendors.
40 hours a week with the ability to sometimes work in weekends when a network situation arises
