The Arroyo Seco Saints a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization attracts elite college baseball players coaches and college students seeking to gain experience in the sports industry to the greater Los Angeles area for the months of June and July. A proud member of the California Collegiate League and entering its 20th season of operation the Saints strive to provide the finest collegiate summer baseball experience in the nation. Learn by doing! Graduate Assistants will be key players in advancing our mission. You will spend the summer gaining valuable experience in the sports industry building your resume and career portfolio and learning through mentoring networking and training.
Location
Home Stadium: Jackie Robinson Memorial Field (Pasadena California). Located 10 minutes north of Los Angeles adjacent to the worldfamous Rose Bowl Stadium.
Opponent locations: Throughout the state of California.
Team Manager Responsibilities
This position is integral to the success of the Franchise. You will have a hand in everything. You will work closely with General Manager on a particular then the Head Coach on another day and the Team President on another day. You will be the gobetween between the functional areas. Some days youll be part of Front Office staff other days youll feel like youre an assistant coach. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in multiple functional areas of a baseball franchise at the same time and prepare for a job in the baseball world. This job is demanding and not for the feckless.

Time Commitments
The Saints college summer season runs June to early August. The Undergraduate/Graduate Student Team Manager position runs from mid May to early August. Games will be played approximately five days a week. Staff will be required to participate (inperson or by conference call) in an introductory meeting in midMay.
Notes
This position is stipend eligible with additional benefits available (Housing Transportation etc). More information upon selected interviewees. Hours will vary. Gamedays are typically 2:0010:00 p.m with field setup in the early afternoon/morning. Nongame days will differ in hours and responsibilities. Flexibility is key to being successful in the professional sports realm. An anything and everything approach in Student Team Manager role will allow you to thrive throughout the season.
