Duties and Responsibilities:
The UI Designer will help design and modernize a userfriendly application(s) for easier content consumption. The designer will have experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders and will exhibit excellent communication and leadership qualities. Other duties and responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Create visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Develop wireframes mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
Design and implement visual elements including icons typography color schemes and imagery that align with brand guidelines.
Ensure consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints.
Collaborate closely with UX designers to ensure a seamless transition from wireframes to visually polished designs.
Work with development teams to ensure the implementation of designs meets quality standards.
Design interactive elements and microinteractions to enhance the overall user experience.
Consider user feedback and behavior to refine and improve interface designs.
Create interactive prototypes to showcase design concepts and facilitate user testing.
Use prototyping tools to bring designs to life and gather feedback for iteration.
Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for various screen sizes and devices.
Collaborate with development teams to address technical considerations related to responsive design.
Gather and incorporate user feedback to enhance and iterate on UI designs.
Provide knowledge transfer.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on engineering projects with specific Business and UX Design.
Experience working with MVC HTML Java CSS Jquery JSON and Ajax
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Sketch Figma or similar.
Solid understanding of best practices and technology landscape
Great communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Excels at balancing usability with great design
Strong abilities in sketching prototyping and evaluating interaction design
Experience with responsive design and mobile app design.
Knowledge of best practices for interaction design for crossplatform devices and applications
Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with team members at all levels including upper management
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced agile environment
Minimum Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Graphic Design Visual Communications
Required Certifications:
PMP CSM ITIL and/or SAFe (Certification would be a plus)
Other:
Local to Minnesota candidates preferred; Remote candidates will be considered.
US Citizens Preferred but Green Card candidates considered.
