Trainee Independent Financial Advisor

The Money Partnership is a welcoming team of Independent Financial Advisers and Mortgage Advisors with a success story to tell. Their business is growing with a base of loyal customers and have recently received direct authorisation from the FCA. To continue this growth they are ready to invest in their next generation of Independent Financial Advisors.

Talent Tent is delighted to be working with the Money Partnership Team to find a Trainee Independent Financial Advisor who is ready to build their career in the Financial Services Industry by building to full accreditation alongside their work.

The role

The Money Partnership aims to take the worry away from making big financial decisions and work with customers to guide them into a better position.

You will impact this in a number of ways;

• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company positively

• Working with existing customers to help them address their financial needs

• By providing competent financial advice under supervision

• Keeping excellent records according to the needs of both the FCA and the company

• Keeping up to date with new product technical or legislative changes in the market

• Seeking out new customers for the company and meeting your KPIs

In return you will receive all the support you need to become a fully fledged Independent Financial Advisor (which could take as little as one year!);

• Fully funded IFA exams

• Career progression once you are fully qualified

About you

Our ideal candidate will be a natural networker with some background in a financial or regulated service although this is not essential. You will already be partly qualified as an IFA or have taken the first steps to being so .

A real desire to succeed in financial services is important and we will want to see that you have at least spent some time researching the IFA profession. You will need to be comfortable developing your sales skills.

This is a small team with ambitions for growth so the ability to work together toward one vision will be essential as well as the agility to respond to the changing needs of a growth business.

You may not have 100% of these credentials but dont let this put you off we want to hear from great candidates with the right motivations to succeed.

Based in Risca Newport you will work four days per week in the office and receive a generous holiday allowance of 28 days plus bank holidays.

This is a regulated industry so successful applicants will be required to complete a standard DBS check credit check and full reference checks.
