As a Trade Marketing Manager your role revolves around developing and implementing strategies to promote products through various distribution channels. Here are some key responsibilities are.

  1. Market Analysis: Conducting market research to understand consumer behavior trends and competitors within the industry. This analysis helps in identifying opportunities and threats in the market.

  2. Strategic Planning: Developing trade marketing plans aligned with overall marketing and business objectives. These plans outline promotional activities pricing strategies and distribution channels to achieve sales targets.

  3. Promotional Campaigns: Designing and executing promotional campaigns targeted at retailers wholesalers distributors and other partners in the supply chain. These campaigns aim to increase brand visibility drive sales and improve product placement.

  4. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as retailers distributors and suppliers. Effective communication and collaboration with these partners are essential for successful trade marketing initiatives.

  5. Merchandising: Developing merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and presentation at the point of sale. This may involve creating attractive displays signage and promotional materials to capture consumer attention.

  6. Trade Shows and Events: Planning and attending trade shows exhibitions and industry events to showcase products network with potential partners and stay updated on industry trends.

  7. Sales Support: Providing support to the sales team by developing sales tools training programs and promotional materials to facilitate the selling process.

  8. Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing the performance of trade marketing activities against predefined KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). This involves tracking sales data evaluating campaign effectiveness and making datadriven decisions to optimize future initiatives.
