You are responsible for
Dangerous Goods
Undertake Philips internal training, identify products regulated as DG, ensure there is a current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each DG product.
Identify employees that handle and ship DG and provide appropriate training, ensure there are documented procedures in place for training, storage, handling, shipping and disposal of Dangerous Goods.
Ensure there are processes in place to ensure DG compliance throughout the supply chain; Supplier to Philips, Philips to Customer, Customer to Philips, Complete an annual Dangerous Goods Self-Assessment
Export Controls
Undertake Philips internal training, responsible to manage the programme, correctly fill in self-assessment every year, correct assessment of the unit involvement status.
Implement action plan and drive compliance.
Request management commitment and approval.
Customer check in Protect, Customer Profile Check List (CPCL), i.e. the person closest to the customer has to confirm customer use of products.
Philips Supply Chain Security
Undertake Philips internal training
Act as AEO responsible for the local business towards external and internal stakeholders (HMRC, Philips Electronics UK management, Global Trade Compliance, Group Security, Group Tax). This requires notification of all changes that may affect the AEOstatus.
Maintain a current list of All Sites for total HealthTech in the UKI Market where PSCS is applicable for
Be the market liaison with Group Supply Chain Security & Physical & Personnel Security EMEA
Support tracking the status of PSCS sites contracts (in alignment with the above and local Procurement)
Co-ordinate actions related to any audit non-conformances identified, present status / support needed to COSAS LT quarterly.

Party Stock Management Controls
From the All Sites list, maintain up-to-date identification of which stock holding locations require adherence to Philips Stock Count procedure
Maintain an Annual plan for Stock Counts with RACI
Ensure all Stock Counts adhere to Philips process and timeline requirement(s)
Support The Management of 3rd Party Suppliers & Sites
Support Sector Supply Leads with 3rd party relationship management
Track Supplier status & contract mgt timelines (with Procurement)
Raise POs and support Invoice approval
Support regular performance & KPI reviews, co-ordinate actions arising
Identify and deliver Continuous Improvement / PDCA activities with 3rd party suppliers
You are a part of
a team of 5 in the UK and will work on a daily basis with the wider Western European team of 17.
To succeed in this role, youll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Understanding of the MDD & MDR regulations
Ideally from a technical, manufacturing or engineering background
5+ years' experience in quality/compliance
Familiar with medical devices in the UK and the EU
Knowledge of Brexit regulations is essential
