Tour Guide - John Deere Attractions

Position Title

*Please note: This is a Part Time Visitor Services position candidates MUST be available to work on Saturdays. The hours of operation for the facility are Monday from 15 TuesdaySaturday from 95 closed on Sunday. Looking for someone to work 1530 hours per week.

Job Duties
Ensures that all guests to the JD Pavilion receive an exceptional JD experience.
Performs opening and closing procedures for the facility.
Performs front desk information operations administrative duties.
Assist in all general daily activities as needed.
Receives ongoing training and development.
Works special events including set up and tear down.
Has availability to work during a 7dayaweek operation including holidays.
Acts as an ambassador for all community attractions and businesses.
Greet guests tour groups etc.
Answer the main Pavilion phone line at the front desk
Take tour reservation with guests via phone
Greet visitors/groups and give a short overview of the selfguided Pavilion layout

Required Skills
Candidates should have a friendly outgoing personality and be comfortable interacting with Pavilion guests
Ability to multitask
Attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
High level of customer service and professionalism
Some computer experience would be helpful
Previous experience working in a museum is a plus
