Job Title: Test Manager
Location: Dublin 2 Hybrid
Contract / Permanent: FTC 12 Months With further extension.

Role:
The Clients IM&T Division is now seeking a Senior Test Manager to oversee and manage an existing structure of outsourced Test Analyst teams currently comprised of nine (9) Test Analyst Resources.
These analysts range from Junior to Senior level in experience. Their work ranges from:
Provision of QA/Test solutions across a selection of projects and platforms
Provision of QA/Test solutions to platform upgrades
Advising the Department on the development and implementation of an emerging Test Strategy.
It is expected that the Test Manager will also be a key figure in consultation on and implementation of this Strategy over the course of the contract.
The Test Manager will report to the Assistant Principal Officer in the IM&T Strategy and Architecture team.
Experience Level Required:
The following are mandatory requirements. These are pass/fail requirements.
Have a minimum of 7 years experience in a Senior Test role &
Have managed Test teams and projects for a minimum of 3 of the past 5 years
Key Deliverable:
The following nonexhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role.
Responsible for the delivery of the test process within the department and the management and resolution of defects identified during the test process.
Responsible for the ongoing management of quality assurance processes to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards.
Advises on the application of appropriate quality and/or environmental management techniques specifying requirements for environment data resources and tools.
Provides reports on progress anomalies risks and issues associated with the Department s overall Test effort.

1. Two indepth examples of the management of test projects covering the following (360 Marks Available)
a. management of quality assurance processes to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards.
b. ensuring the application of appropriate quality management techniques and project plans
c. managing test team resources to ensure a consistent approach.
d. scheduling test activity within and across projects managing resources as necessary.
2. Provision of expert advice on and implementation of best practice methods and technologies for the test life cycle advising on requirements for environments data resources and tools (150 Marks Available)
3. Recording and analysing actions and results (90 Marks Available)
a. Maintaining a defect register to report on system quality using test metrics collected.
b. Providing reports on progress anomalies risks and issues associated with individual projects and across multiple projects.
