Job description
Program Manager will provide management direction administration quality assurance and leadership for the Strategic Initiatives Policy and Emerging Technologies (SIPET) Transition task order.
Essential Job Functions:
PM support shall include assigning tasks to contractor personnel supervising ongoing technical efforts and managing daily operations and overall contract performance.
PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of daily operations including both technical issues and business processes.
PM will proactively alert the Government to potential contractual programmatic and resource limitations issues.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must have a Bachelors degree and minimum of 10 years of Program/Project Management experience.
Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required.
A minimum of 6 years of recent experience (within last 10 years) managing programs/projects that included DoD Test & Evaluation (T&E) strategic environment.
An active certification in Program Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) OR PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Weapon systems test experience is required.
Must have experience with larger scale programs (over $10M) across multiple systems (aircraft ships tanks weapons etc.).
Desired Skills:
15 years of combined experience in positions providing the PM with an understanding of DoD T&E programs that would enable the PM to readily communicate and understand the mission needs of Strategic Initiatives Policy and Emerging Technologies (SIPET).
