Territory Sales & Business Development


As the Territory Sales and Business Development representative, you will be responsible for driving new business You will be expected to identify prospects, meet with prospects onsite at their locations, and generate opportunities to quote on the business of You will be expected to secure new business to exceed sales Additionally, you will drive growth within current customer You will work in coordination with the company s management team and customer service representatives and utilize the company provided customer relationship management tool to manage all sales related activities, including opportunities, customer visits, and

Requirements:

Reporting to the General Sales

Primary territory responsibility: California, Nevada, Arizona, &

Achieve annual new business sales

Achieve annual existing/current customer sales

Identify strategic potential new business sales opportunities within the assigned territory and to introduce the company to these Utilize various tools including personal knowledge, networking, and company marketing resources to generate new leads to drive sales

Employ creative and fresh techniques to secure onsite meetings with new business decision

Generate new business sales through onsite qualification of customer needs, providing detailed product information and pricing estimates, and communication of the company s value

Develop marketing and sales plans for new business

Develop generic and specific customer presentations and proposals for new business opportunities, building on existing

Actively participate in and lead when appropriate sales meetings, including sharing presentations, success stories and challenges for the learning, development, and shared success of

Supply won/loss data with reasons for all

Troubleshoot problems regarding customer products and handle complaints if

Keep informed of industry changes, new products, services, and other items of interest to

Represent the company at industry conferences and events as

Travel as required to develop new business opportunities within assigned

Must possess a home office and a personally insured Additional duties as



Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • At least 10 years experience in direct sales of flexible films, bags, pouches, roll stocks, lidding films, & specialty films preferred, but not
  • Any sales experience within the plastic/paper industries will be
  • Valid driver s license with an acceptably clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, but not
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrated experience in selling techniques including securing face-face meetings with decision makers, debunking common sales objections, and closing
  • Proven ability to close sales and drive territory sales
  • Capable of building strong relationships with prospects and
  • Understanding of the sales landscape in the assigned
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing
  • Proactive, problem solver, and accountable to customers and company
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Capable and comfortable working from a home
  • Knowledge of Quality & Food Safety (HACCP), IFS
