Facility Specific Requirement: Cannot accept local candidates that live within 100 miles of the facility.
A Surgical Technician functions under the direction of a professional Registered Nurse and or Physician to carry out patient care activities according to the mission and philosophy of the Nursing Department. The Surgical Technician is accountable for nursing care activities performed and is responsible directly to the Director of Surgical Services. Demonstrates competency in caring for patients of all levels and ages. Takes call and responds promptly

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every 5th Weekend
On Call Requirements : 34 Weeknight Call Per Every 4 Week Schedule

Requirement description :
- 3 Years of Experience Required
- Experience with Ortho Sports Medicine OB/GYN Ophthalmic and Urology Required
- Travel Experience Highly Preferred
- National Certification Highly Preferred
- BLS (AHA) Required
- Work History
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 100mile radius restriction)
