Shift Notes: Monday Friday: 7:30a4p (40 Hour Guarantee)

Clinic Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout the clinic
• Standard rooming processes
• Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given)
• Provide telephone support
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers
• Assist with medication refills
• Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)
• Stocking supplies/rooms
• Perform EKGs

• A minimum of 1year experience in a patientcare setting Required
• Medical Assistant Diploma Required
• MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
• BLS (AHA or ARC) Required
• Must be willing to Float to Maple Grove on an asneeded basis.
• Skills Checklist Required
• Two Supervisory Reference Forms Required
