Role Description

This is a fulltime hybridremote/office role for a Carrier Telecom Business Development professional. The role is located in the greater Seattle WA area with flexibility for some remote work. The Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying developing and maintaining relationships with large enterprise and wholesale carrier customers to drive revenue growth. The professional will also manage contract negotiations collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stay uptodate with industry trends and competitors. Some travel required (2550%). Someobne with previous relationships in TMobile and / or ATT is a big plus.

Qualifications

Proven experience and track record in sales business development or account management in the data/telecom industries

Strong understanding of telecommunication / data communication transport technologies (DWDM MPLS & TCIP/BGP)

Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities

Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or related field

Proficient with basic Microsoft office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)

Good to have:

Strong knowledge of fiber wireless microwave and emerging White Space technologies

Experience working with top US Cellular Telecommunication companies

Knowledge of local broadband ecosystems and policies

New market development experience

  • In order to build rapport I will need this candidate to located in the Seattle / Pacific NW region as well need them in our Bellingham WA HQ quite a bit during their first 23 months. From there most travel will be on the West Coast with some travel to other regions of the US.
