TechnicalProfessional - Inspector - Receiving

Job Description: ***This position is for a Mechanical Inspector***

The ideal candidate will perform various types of mechanical inspections including dimensional inprocess machining and assembly final inspection receiving inspection and routine first pieces on fabricated subcontracted and/or purchased parts. Will be required to perform mechanical inspection utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other technical inspection equipment.

Must be familiar with and capable of learning the use of all measuring instruments tools and gages required to perform various mechanical inspection functions.
Must have a good understanding of shop math and blueprint reading / interpretation. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Normally utilizes computers to enter transactions validate information and maintain database.
No degree required
Manager looking for:
1inspection background (preferred Mechanical inspection experience)
2Ability to use computers
3Electrical background

***Required: experience using Calibers Micrometers CMMCoordinated measuring machine
Work schedule for first shift starts at 5:30am EST.
