Technical Writer

Boson is a Silicon Valley based startup focusing on farm automation. We are working on solving farming/agricultural automation challenges with our electric vehicles and computer vision. We are looking for an enthusiastic/energetic Technical Writer with a minimum of 57 years of experience in the automobile industry.

Job Responsibilities :

• Document Creation : Develop and produce technical documentation including user manuals service
  

manuals installation guides technical specifications maintenance procedures and trouble shooting

guides for automotive products and systems.

• Research & Collaboration: Collaborate with the stakeholders to gather technical information and validate the accuracy of content.
  

• Content Organization: Organize technical information into a logical and coherent structure making it easy for the intended audience to access and understand.
  

• Simplify Complex Concepts : Simplify complex technical concepts and jargon into clear and concise and userfriendly language catering to both technical and nontechnical team members.
  

• Visual Aids : Should be able to use visual aids such as illustrations diagrams images to enhance the clarity and understanding of technical documentation
  

• Compliance and Standards : Ensure that all technical documentation complies with relevant industry standards regulations and company guidelines.
  

• Version Control : Maintain version control of technical documents to keep track of updates and revisions.
  

• Continuous Improvement : Need to proactively keep track of the changes as well as collect feedback and create tutorials to help end users use a variety of applications in the automotive domain.
  

Requirements

Requirements :

• Bachelors in Engineering or Automotive Technology.
  

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience and familiarity with technical writing tools such as Microsoft word Adobe Framemaker and other relevant documentation management software.
  

• Extensive hands on understanding of automotive systems components & processes and processes Familiarity with automotive engineering and manufacturing concepts would be an added advantage.
  

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to comprehend complex technical concepts and translate them into simplified userfriendly concepts.
  

• Good written and verbal communications skills.
