Technical Superintendent Tankers

(based in Singapore)

ORGANIZATION:

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be incharge of managing the technical and operational performance of Tanker vessels. Your key role is to ensure safe and efficient operations of the company s vessels their routine and preventive maintenance and that all international marine requirements are complied with.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and supervise technical aspects of vessel operations ensuring compliance with safety quality and environmental standards.
  
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure vessels technical readiness and reliability.
  
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize vessel performance budget management and resource allocation.
  
• Oversee drydocking repairs and maintenance schedules ensuring costeffective and timely completion.
  
• Develop and implement technical guidelines policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors suppliers and external stakeholders.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crews and shorebased personnel.
  

Requirements

• You must be a qualified Marine Engineer or equivalent diploma holder in marine/navigation.
  
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Technical Superintendent with Tanker vessels.
  
• Minimum 2 years sailing experience as a Chief Engineer or Senior office with COC Class 1 is a must
  
• Business acumen with capability to manage the budgetary responsibilities for multiple vessels.
  
• People are oriented and passionate about developing shipboard teams.
  
• Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  
• You have solid technical skills and enjoy solving challenging situations.
  
• Well updated with the latest regulatory requirements and its implementation.
