Position: Technical Sales Engineer

Education and experience: B.E or BTECH (Instrumentation / Electronics / Mechanical)
24 years Sales experience.
Job Description:
Experience selling instrumentation and sensors
Experience working in the HVAC and/or BMS industries
Ready to travel all over India.
Products The engineer will be required to sell Omicron s products which include but are not limited to Instruments used to measure and control Pressure Temperature Flow Level Air Quality and Water Quality.
Customers The engineer will be involved in direct sales to Customers in the Automation Segment (Process / OEM / HVAC / BMS) Pharmaceutical Segment and OEM.
Interaction with contractors consultants and end customers. The incumbent is responsible for providing sales to OEMs and Channel customers on Sensors used in Process Industries / BMS / Automation System applications to sustain existing business and develop new business opportunities (new customers/new products) as per the organization s strategy.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible to seek and develop new business in the assigned territory by the following but not limited to:
Execute longterm and shortterm sales strategies to accelerate business growth
Grow sales and increase Omicrons market share in the region
Understand and analyze market trends in order to achieve the target budget and identify future opportunities.
Aggressively seek new clients by sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in and around designated regions which will cover customers through interaction with contractors consultants and end customers.
Demonstrate strong closing techniques and sales growth through professional communications with potential clients.
Develop longterm relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements speaking with clients to understand anticipate and meet their needs.
Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
Persuade clients that the product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality price and delivery.
Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating the features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
Prepare ontime responses to requests for quotation negotiation and close of sales order.
Maintain a strong knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies.
Attending and participating in trade shows conferences and other marketing events.
Submit regular customer visit plans; schedule client meetings and action plans for followup
