Technical/IT Recruitment Consultant

We are a Cybersecurity and IT recruitment company based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. We work internationally with global companies to source their highly skilled and rare candidates.

We are seeking a highly efficient, organised and motivated individual to come on board the team and assist with placing our high-profile candidates in sought after positions!

Your position in the team will be very important taking candidates from the Resourcers and interviewing them, getting them through the external interview process and bidding on their behalf to get them the best role possible for them- You will be making a big difference to people s lives and careers!

We are looking for someone with a knowledge and background in IT or cybersecurity, or who is confident that they can pick up the lingo and technical side of things and learn fast but you must be a fully trained and confident recruitment consultant this is NOT an entry level position.

No two days are ever the same at Avatar, your time will be spent doing various tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting Internal interviews full training and prompts/guides will be given upon starting to maintain the Avatar standard (positions can range from IT, Cyber, Automotive and I-gaming and casinos)
• Working across our various ATS
• Getting up to speed with our ATS software and its training modules
• Working across our social media channels
• Sourcing highly skilled/technical candidates
• Learning to use advanced resourcing software (LinkedIn Recruiter)
• Diary Management
• Scheduling internal interviews for our recruitment consultants
• Daily team briefings
• Excellent proficiency with computers
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbally
• Clear, confident and concise speaking manner
• Approachable and professional both within the team and with candidates
• Punctuality
• Tactful
• Takes initiative and is pro-active
• Confident decision-making skills
• Having of the utmost integrity
• Team player
• Eager to learn
• Background knowledge/previous experience in Cybersecurity/IT/ or online gaming-casinos placements
• 18 months + experience as a successful recruitment consultant, with proof of hitting targets and working to KPI s
• Excellent references from 2 employers one of which must be a recent recruitment employment.
• Friendly, approachable and professional with candidates

We adopt a hybrid working model upon successful probationary period you will be able to work from home twice per week as you see fit (will fit into our WFH rota). Upon starting the position you will work in the office until you are to grips with the role and your line manager feels you are able to work independently - with working from home permitted once per week until the end of your probationary period.

Things are fast paced at Avatar International, and they can change from day to day.

You will be given regular 1-2-1 s and support, and the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business (your Director and COO alone have combined 60 years of experience within the IT, cyber and recruitment industries).

We currently have a very small team of Consultants, so this is an excellent opportunity to make your mark and cement your place among them!
